Here’s a quick Halloween business tip to take the ghosts and goblins out of your business.
At my weekly BNI networking group today, one of the visitors heard this tip I shared during the weekly education moment and loved it so much she asked me to re-share it with her afterward. That made me think — if she found it valuable, you might too.
Below is the exact Halloween-themed business tip I shared — a fun reminder about leadership, growth, and how to show up as your best in business.
Here’s this week’s BNI Education Tip:
Good morning, BNI!
This Halloween, you’ll want to think about two things:
What’s your superpower—and what’s your kryptonite?
Let’s start with your superpower.
When you think about what you do great—your “wow”—what would others say about it?
If you asked your best clients what you do better than anyone else, what would they tell you?
That’s your superpower.
It’s the value you bring that solves a real pain for them.
It’s the thing that makes them feel like the hero in their own story—and you’re the guide who helped them win.
So ask yourself:
- What words would my clients use to describe that strength?
- How can I highlight that in my BNI commercial, success stories, or marketing?
When you share those client results and “wow” moments, people clearly see the power of what you do.
Now, let’s talk about your kryptonite.
We all have one.
Maybe you’re great at starting relationships but weak at following up.
Maybe you present well but don’t practice enough or don’t generate enough new activity.
Every business has an area that could be stronger.
So this week, focus on two things:
- Emphasize your superpower. Use client words and stories to show your value.
- Face your kryptonite. Pick one area where things fall through the cracks and work on closing that gap.
When you double down on what you do best and strengthen where you struggle, you create unstoppable momentum.
That’s how superheroes grow businesses—by leading with their strengths and turning kryptonite into power.
So, what’s your superpower?
What’s your kryptonite?
And how will you use both to fly higher this week?
That’s your Halloween Education Tip—now go be superheroes!
