šŸ€Ā MakeĀ Your Own Luck in BusinessĀ

Since we just had St. Patrick’s Day šŸ€Ā , I wanted to share something quick, because in business we talk about luck, but the truth is we don’t wait for luck — we create it.Ā

So today I’m going to walk throughĀ L.U.C.K. — four ways to create your own luck in business.Ā

Here’s what each letter stands for:Ā

  • L – Look for opportunitiesĀ Ā
  • U – Understand your clientĀ Ā
  • C – Connect and communicate with peopleĀ Ā
  • K – Keep showing up and growingĀ Ā

Let’s walk through it:Ā

L – Look for opportunities
Opportunities are everywhere — referrals, conversations, events — but only if you’re actively looking for them.
Looking for opportunities is all about one thing: being active in the marketplace and your marketing activities.
So always make sure to have a plan for your marketing activities and set goals for the results you want out of it.
That way, looking for opportunities turns into results.Ā Ā

U – Understand your client
The better you understand their problems, the easier it is for others to refer you.
What’s the problem each one of your clients has had?
What’s the solution you’ve provided?
What’s the result?
That problem, solution, result of understanding your clients is key, and you’ll use that in the next one when you connect and communicate with people.Ā

C – Connect and communicate with people
Conversations equal more opportunities — that’s where luck actually comes from.
Because once you connect and communicate, you communicate those key things you understand about your clients — their problems, their solutions, and their results — to convey the value you have and create curiosity, engagement, and bring on new prospects and clients.Ā

K – Keep showing up and growing
Consistency beats luck every time.
The people who keep showing up are the ones who get lucky.
This is why luck isn’t an accident — attendance is your good luck charm.
Attendance is key. Ā It’s those that show up that are the ones that find their pot of gold.
Only the worthy find the Grail, as they say.
Tony Robbins would say proximity is power, because when we put ourselves in proximity to the market and the people in it, things can show up even better than anything we could’ve ever written down on a goal list.
That’s truly when action and making sure you’re doing the work come together to create something more powerful than we could imagine.Ā

Ā Let’s recap L.U.C.K.:Ā

  • L – Look for opportunities
  • U – Understand your client
  • C – Connect and communicate with people
  • K – Keep showing up and growing Ā šŸ€Ā
